Q10016 - INFO: Activation doesn't works it keeps asking to re-activate

All Disk Doctors ESD license's should be installed on fixed disk i.e. (IDE, SCSI, and SATA); if your hard disk has a separate logical drive other then the one where data has been lost then you should install the software on spare logical drive.

For example:

If data is lost from C: drive then software should be downloaded and installed on D: drive.

In case your system is having only one drive then you may

a) Attach this drive as slave to another healthy machine where you can install the software on master drive for recovery.

b) Make this drive as slave and attach a new drive as master (you may have to re-install Windows on the master) on the same machine where you can install the software again.

The software cannot be activated on a removable drive such as PEN drive, USB drives etc. as then there would be no meaning of copy protection of the software and the software can be carried and can be launched from anywhere which voids the license policy.

So even if you are able to activate the software on a removable drive, the activation would work till the time it is hooked to the machine. As soon as it is detached from the machine it would ask to re-activate if attached again.

So once you have installed the software on a fixed disk, follow the procedure explained here http://www.diskdoctors.net/ESD-Activation/ESD-Activation-mr.html

So once we receive the site code from you we would check the validity of your order and would process the site code to generate a site key for you to unlock the software again.
