Hard Drive Recovery

I have installed a new HD and got everything working properly, I installed my old HD as a slave. It is listed in device manager but not in "my computer”, I figured out how to get it listed, but it says it needs to be formatted. I need to save the files off it. Will Disk Doctor software be able to do that?

Disk Doctors Windows Data Recovery software would the best tool to recover data from this old slave hard drive. It is purely data recovery software and does not intend to repair any drive, it will find the links to the lost file and folders and will present the data in explorer like interface to evaluate the chances of recovery.

User needs to select the data that is of utmost importance and transfer it to another healthy drive, partition or even to a mapped network drive.
